As part of the complete restoration of our Cottage, we needed a kitchen that would both compliment the style of the Cottage and make best use of the available space. We looked at many options, but heard about Allwood Kitchens at exactly the right time in our decision process. My Wife and I were very impressed by the time and effort that Gary dedicated to help and assist us in our kitchen design [even though he's was doing all this in the middle of a premises that looked more like a demolition site than a restoration], making many constructive suggestions, plus integrating our changing ideas, even though there were one or two late amendments.
We visited the manufacturing facilities and were able to further "Bespoke" the kitchen from a wide choice of existing or bespoke door designs, worktops and door furniture, well before we committed to our final design. We did worry that as we were subjecting our Cottage to a total refurbishment, that we may have to wait some time between the period when the kitchen area was completed, before the new kitchen could be installed, but we needn't have worried as Gary had everything organised to cope with what was a somewhat flexible timeline. Gary even coped with our decision to remove a wall and replace it with an oak pillar, ensuring that the new kitchen units and worktop "wrapped" around the new pillar.
In terms of completing our project, we also took Gary's recommendations and used his Approved Contacts for the supply and installation of the Granite worktops, and a professional decorator to complete the finishing touches after everything was installed.
All the relevant trades turned up exactly as agreed, and completed their tasks to our complete satisfaction. We were also impressed with the guarantee that Allwood Kitchens would return a few months after completion, to ensure that if there were any "Snags" with the kitchen, they would be addressed. Not that we have had any after almost 2 years.
We class ourselves as very fortunate to have heard about Allwood Kitchens, and as highly satisfied clients, have no reservations in recommending Gary and his Team.
